Welcome to La Cucina, our charming little restaurant over a decade in the making.
We are thrilled to share our love for Italian cuisine with our local community and visitors on our beautiful small island.
Join us to indulge in the welcoming atmosphere and the delicious flavours of Italy.

Our Story
Each year we return to Italy to visit family while taking in different parts of such a special country.
The rolling hills of Tuscany, the beautiful mountains of the North, the steep cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, and the best mozzarella factories 30 minutes from Francesco's home.
On our annual trip back home, we enjoy time with family and friends gathered around the table sharing dishes made from the heart. This is just a small token we hope to share with our friends, community and visitors alike.

We decided to name our space La Cucina, which translates to "The Kitchen" and is the heart of every Italian home.
With a beautiful wood and gas pizza oven on the patio, Francesco has taken years to perfect his light airy dough that lays the foundation for this Neapolitain-style pizza and our fresh pasta created with the pasta machine we brought in from Italy.

environment where everyone can feel like part of La Famiglia (The Family).
